The SLD broadband light source utilizes a superluminescent semiconductor diode chip. Leveraging a unique amplified spontaneous emission mechanism, it delivers a stable optical signal characterized by low coherence and a broad spectral range, while simultaneously offering high output optical power spectral density. Operating across the 1650 nm near-infrared band, the source features excellent spectral flatness and low coherence noise. It precisely meets the rigorous technical requirements of applications such as optical coherence tomography (OCT), distributed fiber-optic sensing, and performance testing of passive optical components, providing a highly reliable broadband light source solution.
The flatness is about 10dB, the fixed optical power is not adjustable, and the single-mode fiber output.
