The SLD broadband light source uses a superradiative semiconductor diode light-emitting chip to output a broadband spectrum with low coherence and high output optical power spectral density. The operating wavelength can be selected from O, S, C, L bands or combinations thereof, making it suitable for applications such as optical OCT and fiber optic sensing.
