The single-frequency narrow-linewidth fiber laser utilizes an ultra-narrow linewidth external cavity semiconductor laser chip to output single longitudinal mode laser light at a wavelength of 1550nm. Its spectral linewidth is less than 200kHz, and its output is coupled to a single-mode or polarization-maintaining fiber. Available in module or desktop packaging, it is a cost-effective laser source for distributed sensing.
