EDFA-C-PA-45-SM-M Erbium doped Fiber Amplifier C-Band 1530~1565nm 45dB Pre-Amplifier Module type
C-band erbium-doped fiber small-signal amplifier (PA amplifier for short) is an amplifier dedicated to C-band weak optical signals in the range of -45dBm ~ -25dBm. The typical small signal gain is as high as 35~45 dB, and it has a low noise index. , usually used in front of a photodetector to improve its ability to detect weak light signals.
There are two types EDFA.(Current product is Pre-Amplifier type.)
Pre - Amplifier, referred to as PA, that is preamplifier, used in the -45 ~ -25 dBm range of small light signal amplification, typical gain of 35 dB;
Booster - Amplifier, referred to as BA, is used to enhance the power of the optical signal in the range of - 6 ~ +10 dBm, with a maximum output power of 27 dBm;
