Announcement on Export Control of Products Containing Rare Earth Elements (2025-10-15)
According to the latest announcement issued by China's Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs on October 9, 2025 (link provided below), optical fibers containing rare earth elements are now classified as controlled export items.
Consequently, relevant products must obtain approval from the Ministry of Commerce before they can be exported.

Key Points:
1. Each order requires a separate export license approval.
2. The estimated processing time for an export license application is approximately 45 working days.
3. Affected products include: EDFA / YDFA / TDAF / Nanosecond laser / Narrow linewidth laser / certain single-mode/polarization-maintaining lasers / and other products containing optical fibers with rare earth elements.
4. During the approval process, we are required to submit detailed information, including end-user details, specific application, and usage scenarios. Therefore, we will need to request relevant information and assistance from customers accordingly.
**Adjustments to Order Process:**
After receiving payment from the customer, we will proceed to apply for the export license.
Production and shipment will be scheduled only after the export license has been granted.
If the export license application is unsuccessful, a full refund will be arranged for the customer.
