After-sales service
Supplementary Terms for After-Sales Service
I. Warranty Policy
-
Warranty Period: Free warranty service is provided within 1 year from the date of customer receipt of the product.
II. Repair Service Details
-
Product Usage Specifications
-
Immediately contact our technical support if any abnormality occurs during product use. Unauthorized disassembly is strictly prohibited.
-
Disassembly determination criteria: The integrity of the original anti-tamper label is the sole basis.
-
Violation penalty: Confirmed cases of self-disassembly will automatically void free repair eligibility, regardless of warranty status, and repairs will be charged at 300% of standard fees.
-
Non-Warranty Scope
The following cases require paid repairs (cost-based fees apply):
-
Damage caused by improper operation
-
Damage to laser diodes and output fiber tails (normal service life: tens of thousands of hours)
Note: Structural components, DC power supplies, current drivers, temperature control systems, display and control circuits are covered under free warranty service.
III. Typical Improper Operations & Prevention Guidelines
1. Improper Operation #1: Disconnecting Fiber Connectors During Laser Emission
-
Risks:
-
Disconnecting fiber connectors while laser is active
-
Pump laser output fiber/connector contacting metal/reflective surfaces
-
-
Consequences:
-
Damages fiber connector end faces
-
Causes laser back-reflection, damaging pump laser diode
-
-
Prevention:
-
Never disconnect fibers during operation
-
Use fusion splicing for output-to-WDM connections
-
Fully power off before fiber handling
-
2. Improper Operation #2: Same-Wavelength Bidirectional Pumping
-
Risk: Unabsorbed laser light enters opposite pump
-
Consequence: Pump damage
-
Prevention:
-
Avoid same-wavelength bidirectional pumping
-
Use different wavelengths if required
-
3. Improper Operation #3: Poor Optical System Design
-
Risks:
-
High-peak-power pulse oscillation
-
Insufficient WDM isolation
-
Nonlinear optical effects
-
-
Consequence: Signal light enters 980nm pump, causing damage
-
Prevention:
-
Optimize optical design
-
Ensure proper WDM specs
-
Install pump protectors
-
4. Improper Operation #4: Direct Pump-to-Fiber Connection (Bypassing WDM)
-
Risk: Backward ASE light enters 980nm pump
-
Consequence: Instantaneous pump damage
-
Prevention:
-
Always use qualified WDM components
-
Install pump protectors
-
Note: Unspecified matters follow the latest after-sales service policy.
