This product can be used for fiber collimation or coupling focusing. For collimation purposes, either single-mode or multi-mode fiber can be connected. If it is used for coupling and focusing, it can only be used with multimode fiber (numerical aperture 0.22~0.37NA, core diameter ≧100 microns).

This product is a single lens, UV fused silica, no coating on the spherical surface.

After the beam passes through the lens, the divergence angle does not exceed 2°. The field of view of the beam can be adjusted in UV-VIS or VIS-NIR applications. The field of view can be adjusted from convergence to divergence (~45°), and it can be connected to multimode fibers with multiple connectors, which is easy to use.

Technical Tips:
The beam divergence angle (α) obtained by this product using a single lens satisfies tan(α) = d/f. Among them, f lens focal length, d is the slit width or fiber diameter.
Be careful when adjusting the collimating lens, because the wrong focus of the lens will change the length of the sampling path.
